GODDESS.
Goddess is a music video that I was DOP and editor/ colourist for.
This was my first time storyboarding a music video and it was quite an experience taking inspiration from the music producer and turning both his and my vision into reality.
We filmed in quite a number of locations that were foreign to us at the time, allowing my prior-learned camera operating skills to shine.
Using the television studio, a couple of extras, coloured gels over lights and a portable speaker, I was able to transform a white, boring backdrop into an extravagant nightclub.
Being an experimental piece, the editing, lighting and camera movement from this music video saw me drop the filmic conventions I had been taught, allowing my mind to take control and produce a high-quality end slate.
