About Me.

Hi, I'm Noah Taylor, an Australian filmmaker, commercial editor and motion graphics artist.

My passion for all things film and photography started early on, with a small point and shoot camera I got for my 8th birthday and has been the through line of my life ever since. From making short films with friends and uploading travel edits to YouTube, to leading post production on national ad campaigns, I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of turning real moments into something cinematic.

My creative journey began in 2013 when I started a YouTube channel, sharing everything from school projects to travel videos and short experimental films. What began as a hobby quickly evolved into a passion for visual storytelling, cinematography, and editing. Alongside video, I explored photography and self taught advanced post production techniques, building a solid foundation that would shape my career.

By the time I began my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, Screen and Television at QUT in 2018, I had already developed a strong understanding of camera work, editing, and digital media production. This early experience led to my first professional role at BOQ (Bank of Queensland) as a Digital Media Coordinator, where I produced internal and external communication videos, team profiles, and digital campaigns. I also introduced new formats such as GIFs and internal video communications, helping to modernise how the company shared stories across the bank.

In the years since, I’ve expanded into commercial and post production environments, gaining experience across editing, motion graphics, colour grading, and onlining. I worked as an Editor and Motion Graphics Artist at Cutting Edge Post, delivering broadcast and branded content for national campaigns and collaborating closely with agency creatives and directors to craft engaging, high quality visual stories.

Then I began work with Prodigious (Publicis Production) as a Shooter/Editor, where I was trusted to deliver national and international commercial work for major clients including Subway, Queensland Police, Blackmores and many more. My role spans editing, colour, VFX integration, and online finishing; taking each project from concept to broadcast delivery with precision and creativity.

Alongside my full time roles, I continue to produce freelance work under NKTtv Productions, offering end to end creative services for brands and businesses across Australia. This includes photography, videography, product campaigns, and motion design, always guided by a commitment to storytelling, clarity, and strong visual identity.

Across the past decade, I’ve become highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer. I’ve also developed a solid understanding of on set workflows, audio recording and post sound (Pro Tools), and drone operation skills that allow me to contribute across all stages of production.

From editing short films on an iPad to cutting national campaigns for global brands, my journey has always been driven by curiosity, creativity, and technical excellence. With over seven years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for film and technology, I’m excited to continue growing within the creative industries telling meaningful stories through powerful visuals.
